AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY OWNED BY THE CITY
OF MCHENRY TO THE CITY OF McEOMY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, McHENRY
COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1: That, pursuant to 65 ILCS 5/7-1-9, the following
described property is hereby annexed to the City of McHenry, McHenry
County, Illinois:
That part of the East Half of Lot 1 of the Northeast Quarter
of Section 2, Township 44 North, Range 8 East of the Third
Principal Meridian, described as follows: beginning at the
Northeast Corner of said Lot 1 of the Northeast Quarter and
running thence South on the East line thereof for a distance
of 987.36 feet to the Northeast Corner of a certain deed
recorded in the Recorder's Office of McHenry County,
Illinois, in Book 204 of Deeds, page 307; thence West on the
North line of said Deed, so recorded, for a distance of
132.00 feet to the Northwest Corner thereof; thence South on
the West line of said Deed for a distance of 53.20 feet to a
point 281.08 feet North of the Southwest corner thereof;
thence West parallel with the South line of the East Half of
Said Lot 1 for a distance of 260.00 feet to a point; thence
South parallel with the East line of said East Half of Lot 1
for a distance of 281.08 feet to a point on the South line
thereof; thence West on said South line for a distance of
170.50 feet to a point 740.00 feet East of the Southwest
Corner thereof; thence North parallel with the West line of
said East Half of Lot 1 for a distance of 330.00 feet to a
point; thence West parallel with the South Line thereof for
a distance of 291.05 feet to a point on a line drawn 448.95
feet East of and parallel with the West line thereof; thence
North on the last mentioned parallel line for a distance of
982.09 feet to a point on the North line of Lot 1 of said
Northeast Quarter of Section 2,; thence East 864.90 feet to
the place of beginning, (excepting therefrom the North 16.50
feet thereof), in McHenry County, Illinois.
Said property, indicated on an accurate map which is appended and
made a part of this Ordinance, consists of 20.9f acres and is located on
Bull Valley Road and has a PIN of 14-04-200-006.
SECTION 2: That the Clerk of the City of McHenry is hereby
directed to record in the Office of the Recorder and to file in the
Office of the County Clerk of McHenry County, within 30 days of: the
effective date of this Ordinance a certified copy of this Ordinance,
together with an accurate map of the property hereby annexed; said map
being attached hereto, made apart hereof and identified as Exhibit "A".

SECTION 3: If any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause,
sentence or provision of this Ordinance shall be adjudged by any Court
of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such judgment shall not affect,
impair, invalidate or nullify the remainder thereof, which remainder
shall remain and continue in full force and effect.
SECTION 4: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon
its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form as provided by
law.
