RIVLA.IDI DAIV< c HEN- IL_L_INOIS Q ORDINANCE AN Uff-M 3 LANDS T O THE CITY OF McHENRY, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of McHenry, County of McHenry, and State of Illinois, has been presented with a .petition for annexation to the City of McHenry, Illinois, by all of the owners of record and all of the electors residing Within the following described prcpertys Lots thirty-three (33), thirty-four (34), thirty-five (35), thirty-six (36), thirty-seven (37), thirty-eight (38), in Cooney Heights First Addition, a Subdivision of part of the East half of the Northeast Quarter of Section thirty-four (34), Township forty-five (45), North Range 8, East of the Third Principal Meridiant according to the plat thereof recorded April 3, 1954, as Document No. 276884.. in Book 11 of Plats, page 101, in McHenry County, Illinois; ALSO That portion of Lillian Street as set forth on the Plat hereinabove mentioned, Which lies southeasterly of the northwesterly line of Lot thirty-eight (38) of Cooney Heights First Addition extended southwesterly to a point of intersection With the southwesterly line of Lillian Street; ALSO Lots one (1), two (2), three (3), four (4), five (5), six (6), seven (7), eight (8)0 nine (9), twenty-eight (28), twenty-nine (29), thirty (30), thirty-one (31), thirty -tyro (32) thirty-three (33), thirty-four (34), thirty-five (351 thirty-six (36), thirtyMseven (37), thirty-eight (3850 in Cooney Heights Second Addition, a Subdivision of part of the East half of the Northeast Quarter of Section thirty-four (340 Township forty- five (45) North, Range eight (8), East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof recorded April 3, 1954.p as Document No, 276884, in Book 11 of Plats, page 101, in McHenry County, Illinois; ALSO Including that portion of Lillian Street included on the: Plat of said Cooney Heights Second Addition; ALSO All. that part of the following described property hying South of the Existing corporate line and Which is described as followss Part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 34, Township 45 North, Range 8, East of the Third Principal Meridian, lying westerly of the Chicago and Northwestern Railway R-O-Wo described as followss Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Section; thence South on the Section line, a distance of 1063.7 feet to an intersection with the Northeasterly line of Logan Street extended Southeasterly in its course 000x 477 PAR 5631 z LAOZE M KINNE ATTORNEYS •Y. IW NOIS to a point for a place of beginning; thence Northwesterly on the Northeasterly line of said street, extended as aforresaid and being on a line forming an angle of 135 degrees 14 minutes to the right, with a prolongation of said Section line, for a distance of 65.79 feet, more or less to a point on the Southeasterly line of Ponca Street, extended Northeasterly in its course, 60 feet; thence Southwesterly on the Southeasterly line of said street, extended as aforesaid to an intersection with the Southwesterly line of Lillian Street (said streets shown on the plat of Cooney Heights Second Addition, recorded as Document No. 276884 dated April 3, A. D. 1954, in Book 11 of Plats, page 101); thence South- easterly being on a line that is a continuation of the Southwesterly line of Lillian Street to an intersection with the Westerly line of the R-O-W of the Chicago and Northwestern Railway Company; thence Northeasterly on the Westerly line of said R-OBI line, being on a line forming an angle of 106 degrees 17 minutes to the left, with a prolongation of the last described line, a distance of 898.16 feet to a point of curve in said Railway R-G-W; thence Northeasterly along the Westerltiy line of said Railway R-O-W, a distance of 199.2 feet to an intersection with the East line of said Section 34; thence North on said Section line 394-35 feet, more or less, to the place of beginning, in McHenry County, Illinois, And, WHEREAS, the said owners and electors signed the said petition and complied with all of the requirements of the statutes of the State of Illinois in regard to such annexation, and WHIWAS, Chapter 24 of the Illinois Revised Statutes, the Cities and Villages Act in Section 7-6A, provides that any petition signed by all of the electors and all of the property owners of record petitioning the City Council for annexation to the City may have such petition granted by favorable ordinance passed by the City Council, NOW THEREME, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of McHenry, Illinois, that the territories described hereinabove, be, and hereby are included within the corporate limits of the City of McHenry, Illinois.
