AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McHENRY, McHENRY
COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION 1. Subsection 14. of Section 13-1222, of Chapter 13 of the
Municipal Code, City of McHenry, Illinois, commonly known as the Traffic and
Motor Vehicle Ordinance of the City of McHenry, Illinois, relating to No
Parking At Any Time is hereby amended to read as follows:
"14. MAIN ST. along the south side of the street from a point 250
feet east of Front Street to Green Street."
SECTION 2. Section 13-1227.1, Subsection 7. relating to Two Hour Parking
8:00 A. M. to 4:00 P.M. on School Days is hereby amended to read as follows:
"7. Third Street along both sides from James Street to Main
Street."
SECTION 3. Section 13-1227.1 relating to Two Hour Parking 8:00 A.M. to
4:00 P.M. on School Days is hereby amended by adding the following additional
areas:
117.1 Third Street along the west side from Main Street to Waukegan
Road.
7.2 Third Street along the east side from Main Street to a point
135 feet north of Main Street."
SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of
this ordinance shall be fined not less than Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00) nor
more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each offense committed on each
day during, or on which, a violation occurs or continues.
SECTION 4. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict with the terms
and provisions hereof, be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of
such conflict.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and
under the authority of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry,
Illinois.
