AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF
MCHENRY, MCHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 13-708 of Chapter 13 of the
Municipal Code, City of McHenry, Illinois commonly known as
the Motor Vehicle and Traffic Regulations Ordinance, be and
the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following
additional provision as paragraph (e)thereof:
( e ) It shall be unlawful for the operator of any
vehicle being operated upon any of the streets or
roadways hereinafter listed in the column
designated "One -Way Street" to drive such vehicle
in a direction different from the direction listed
opposite such street in the column designated
"Traffic Direction":

Street and Municipal
Parking Lot
SECTION 2. Any person, firm or corporation violating
any provision of this ordinance shall be fined not less
than Twenty Dollars ($20.00) nor more than Five Hundred
Dollars ($500.00) for each offense committed on each day
during, or on which, a violation occurs or continues.
SECTION 3. Al ordinances, or parts thereof, in
conflict with the terms and provisions hereof, be and the
same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
