AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MCHENRY, MCHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 2-38 of the Municipal Code, City
of McHenry, Illinois, be and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows:
Sec. 2-38. Time and Place for Regular Council
Meetings. The regular meetings of the Council
shall be held in the Council Room on the first,
second and third Mondays in those months that do
not have five Mondays and on the first, third and
fifth Mondays of those months that do have five
Mondays. In addition, a regular annual meeting
shall be held in the Council Room on the fourth
Monday in April of each year at which any and all
business may be conducted. If,the regular meeting
date falls on a legal holiday, the meeting shall
take place on the next business day. The afore-
said regular meetings will be held at 7:30 p.m.
during the months of November through April and
at 8:00 o'clock during the months of May through
October of each year.
SECTION 2. All ordinances, or parts thereof, in
conflict with the terms and provisions hereof, be and the
same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be published in
pamphlet form by and under the authority of the corporate
authorities of the City of McHenry, Illinois.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in ful] force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
