AN ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MCHENRY, MCHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 4-6 of the "Municipal Code, City
of McHenry, Illinois" be and the same is hereby amended to
increase the annual Liquor License fees for Class A, F, G,
H. and B Liquor Licenses to the amounts set forth opposite
such Liquor License Classification as follows:
CLASS A LICENSE
CLASS F LICENSE
CLASS G LICENSE
CLASS H LICENSE
CLASS 8 LICENSE

SECTION 2. Section 4-22 of the "Municipal Code, City
of McHenry, Illinois" be and the same is hereby amended by
changing the opening and closing hours on Saturday and
Sunday to read as follows:
"It shall be unlawful to sell or offer for
sale at retai 1, any alcohol is liquor in the
City between the hours of 2:00 a.m, and 6:00
a.m. on Saturday.
It shall be unlawful for a Class A Licensee
and a Class G Licensee to sell or offer for
sale at retail any alcoholic liquor in the City
between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
on Sunday.
SECTION 3. The Liquor License fees provided for in
Section 1 of this ordinance shall be applicable to Liquor
Licenses issued for the license year commencing May 1, 1984
and for subsequent years.
SECTION 4. The change in the opening and closing
hours provided for in Section 2 of this ordinance shall
take effect on May 1, 1984.
SECTION 5. Any person, firm or corporation violating
any provision of this ordinance shall be fined not less
than Twenty Dollars ($20.00) nor more than Five Hundred
Dollars ($500.00) for each offense committed on each day
during, or on which, a violation occurs o�r continues.
SECTION 6. A11 ordinances, or parts thereof, in
conflict with the terms and provisions hereof, be and the
same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 7. This ordinance shall be published in
pamphlet form by and under the authority of the corporate
authorities of the City of McHenry, Illinois.
SECTION 8. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
in pamphlet form, as provided by law.
