WHEREAS, James Doran was appointed to the City of McHenry Landmark
Commission on September 2, 1998; and
WHEREAS, he is resigning his position as Commissioner; and
WHEREAS, he has served in his position with sincerity, loyalty, and
dedication; and
WHEREAS, he will be remembered for his thoroughness and civic interest
in fulfilling his duties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the McHenry City Council
go on record as recognizing these accomplishments and expresses its appreciation
on behalf of the citizens of McHenry.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be incorporated into the
minutes of this meeting and that a copy be presented to James Doran.
