RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Barbara Byron was appointed to the City of McHenry
Landmark Commission on May 1, 1991; and
WHEREAS, she is resigning her position as Commissioner after serving the
McHenry Community for eight years in this capacity; and
WHEREAS, she has utilized her expertise in real estate in evaluating
properties of historical significance and the value of repair, replacement and
restoration of these community landmarks; and
WHEREAS, she will be remembered for her thoroughness and civic interest
in fulfilling her duties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the McHenry City Council
go on record as recognizing these accomplishments and expresses its appreciation
on behalf of the citizens of McHenry.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be incorporated into the
minutes of this meeting and that a copy be presented to Barbara Byron.
