WHEREAS, a written
petition, signed by the sole
owners of record of all land
within the territory hereinafter

Dallmann, (the "Petitioners"), has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of McHenry
requesting that said territory be annexed to the City of McHenry; and
WHEREAS, said territory is not within the corporate limits of any municipality, other
than the County of McHenry, and is contiguous to the corporate boundaries of the City of
McHenry; and
WHEREAS, all petitions, documents and other necessary legal requirements are in full
compliance with the statutes of the State of Illinois, specifically 65 ILCS 5/7-1-1, et seq.; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of McHenry that said territory be
annexed thereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF
MCHENRY, McHenry County, Illinois, as follows:
SECTION 1: The following legally described territory (the "Property) is hereby annexed
to the City of McHenry:
That part of Lot 40, 41, and 42 in Sunnyside Subdivision, described as follows: com-
mencing at the Northwest corner of said Lot 42 and running thence South along the West
line of said Lot 42, 77.0 feet for a place of beginning; thence East parallel with the North
line of said Lot 42, 51.5 feet; thence South parallel with the West line of said Lot 42,
75.85 feet; thence West parallel with the North lines of Lots 42, 41 and 40, 124.5 feet to
the Northeasterly line of Fox River Road, being also the Southwesterly line of said Lot
40; thence Northwesterly along the Northeasterly line of Fox River Road, 159.8 feet to a
point, 161.0 feet Southeasterly from the Northwest corner of said Lot 40; thence East
parallel with the North line of Lots 40 and 41, 214.4 feet to the place of beginning. Said
Subdivision being part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 35 and the Northwest Quarter
of Section 36, Township 45 North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian accord-
ing to the Plat thereof recorded September 17, 1909 as Document No. 13880, in Book 3
of Plats, page 34, in McHenry County, Illinois. Situated in the County of McHenry and
the State of Illinois, PIN 09-35-226-002; and commonly known as 1102 N. River Road.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk is directed to record in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds
and to file in the Office of the County Clerk of McHenry County, Illinois, and the post office
serving the Property within 30 days of the effective date of this Ordinance, a certified copy of
this Ordinance, together with a Plat of Annexation of the Property hereby annexed.
SECTION 3: If any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, sentence or provision of this
Ordinance shall be adjudged by any Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such judgment
shall not affect, impair, invalidate or nullify the remainder thereof, which remainder shall remain
and continue in full force and effect.
SECTION 4: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage, approval
and publication in pamphlet form (which publication is hereby authorized) as provided by law.

CERT IFICATION
I, DOUG MARTIN, do hereby certify that I am the duly appointed, acting and qualified
Deputy City Administrator of the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, and I do hereby
further certify that at a regular meeting of the McHenry City Council, held on the 8th day of
September. 2014, the foregoing Ordinance entitled An Ordinance Annexing Property Commonly
Known as 1102 N. River Rd. to the City of McHenry, was duly passed by said City Council.
The pamphlet form of Ordinance No. ORD-14-1685, including the Ordinance and a cover
sheet thereof, was prepared, and a copy of such Ordinance was posted in the City Hall, com-
mencing on the 8th day of September, 2014, and will continue for at least 10 days thereafter.
Copies of such Ordinance are also available for public inspection upon request in the office of
the City Clerk.
I do further certify that the original, of which the attached is a true and correct copy, is
entrusted to me as the Deputy City Administrator of said City for safekeeping, and that I am the
lawful custodian and keeper of the same.

PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
TO THE CITY OF McHENRY
To: Mayor and Aldermen, City of McHenry
McHenry County, Illinois
Date: August 19,2014
The undersigned Petitioners seek annexation of the following property to the City of McHenry, pursuant to 65
1LCS 5/7-1-8. In support thereof Petitioners, being first duly sworn under oath, verify the following to be true
and correct and state as follows:
1) That they are the owners of the parcels constituting the property to be annexed, which is
commonly known as 1102 N. River Road, PIN 09-35-226-002 ("Territory");
2) The Territory is legally described as follows:
That part of Lot 40, 41, and 42 in Sunnyside Subdivision, described as follows: commencing at the
Northwest corner of said Lot 42 and running thence South along the West line of said Lot 42, 77.0 feet
for a place of beginning; thence East parallel with the North line of said Lot 42, 51.5 feet; thence South

3) Petitioners constitute 100% of the owners of record of all of the property within the Territory
proposed to be annexed;
4) Petitioners constitute all electors residing within the Territory;
5) The Territory is not within the corporate limits of any municipality, and is currently under the
jurisdiction of and located within McHenry County; and
6) The Territory is continuous to the current corporate limits of the City of McHenry.
Wherefore, Petitioners respectfully request that the Territory be annexed to the City of McHenry and for such
other action is taken that isjnpropriate for the Territory.
