AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCES 0-97-818 AND 0-97-821
TO ALLOW A REVISED CIRCULATION AND LAND USE PLAN
FOR CENTEGRA NORTHERN ILLINOIS MEDICAL CENTER
IN THE CITY OF MCHENRY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, in 1997, the City Council approved Ordinances 0-97-818 and 0-97-821,
which approved a Circulation and Land Use Plan for Healthbridge Corporation, Northern Illinois
Medical Center, NIMED Corp.; and
WHEREAS, changes to the previously approved Circulation and Land Use Plan have
been proposed and said changes are defined as a Major Adjustment per the Zoning Ordinance
of the City of McHenry; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of McHenry states that Major
Adjustments to a Circulation and Land Use Plan may be approved by the City Council, or they
may be referred back to the Planning and Zoning Commission for review and recommendation;
and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council has considered the proposed Major
Adjustment and finds that the proposed changes are consistent with the intent of the previously
approved Circulation and Land Use Plan and therefore, do not require review and
recommendation by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MCHENRY, MCHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That City of McHenry Ordinance 0-97-818 is hereby amended to delete
that part of Exhibit D referred to as "Circulation Plan" and in its place, the plan attached hereto
and incorporated herein as Exhibit A shall be inserted.
SECTION 2: That City of McHenry Ordinance 0-97-821 is hereby amended to delete
that part of Exhibit B referred to as "Circulation Plan" and in its place, the plan attached hereto
and incorporated herein as Exhibit A shall be inserted.
SECTION 3: All Ordinances or parts thereof in conflict with the terms and provisions
hereof are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and under the
authority of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois.
SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect and after its passage,
approval and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
