HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - R-11-022 - 08/29/2011 - IDOT MFT 204 613.21j Illinois Department of Transportation BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council N-00000-co-&M Resolution for Maintenance of Streets and Highways by Municipality Under the Illinois Highway Code (Council or President and Board of Trustees) of McHenry , Illinois, that there is hereby of the (City, Town or Village) (Name) appropriated the sum of $204,613.21 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the purpose of maintaining streets and highways under the applicable provisions of the Illinois Highway Code from January 1, 2009 (Date) to December 31, 2009 (Date) BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that only those streets, highways, and operations as listed and described on the approved Municipal Estimate of Maintenance Costs, including supplemental or revised estimates approved in connection with this resolution, are eligible for maintenance with Motor Fuel Tax funds during the period as specified above. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk shall, as soon a practicable after the close of the period as given above, submit to the Department of Transportation, on forms furnished by said Department , a certified statement showing expenditures from and balances remaining in the account(s) for this period; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk shall immediately transmit two certified copies of this resolution to the district office of the Department of Transportation, at Schaumburg Illinois. Jones City Clerk City of McHenry 333 South Green Street McHenry, IL 60050 Dear Ms. Jones: The Resolution adopted by the City Council on August 29, 2011, received on September 12, 2011 was approved as of September 14, 2011. This provides for the maintenance of various municipal streets from January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2009 and appropriates $204,613.21 of Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) Funds for the subject section. Additionally, the Estimate of Maintenance Cost in the amount of $204,613.21 for maintenance was also approved as of September 14, 2011. The authorization for expenditure of $204,613.21 for maintenance from the City's Unobligated MFT Account is authorized and will be recorded on the next Monthly Allotment Notification Letter.
