An Ordinance Authorizing the Donation of Surplus Property
Owned by the City of McHenry
WHEREAS, in the opinion of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry, it
is no longer necessary or useful to or for the best interests of the City of McHenry to
retain ownership of five docking stations for laptop computers hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Mayor and City Council of the City of
McHenry to donate said personal property to the City of Jacksonville, Illinois.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MCHENRY AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The Mayor and City Council of the City of McHenry find that the
following described personal property now owned by said jurisdiction is no longer
necessary to said jurisdiction and the City of Jacksonville, Illinois would be best served
by the said personal property donation of five docking stations as follows:

SECTION 2: The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to donate
to the City of Jacksonville, Illinois, the above -described personal property now owned by
the City of McHenry.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage by the corporate authorities.
