ORD-04-1224 (O -") e AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE BY PUBLIC AUCTION OF_., PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF McHENRY WHEREAS, in the opinion of at least three -fourths of the corporate authorities of the City of McHenry, it is no longer necessary or useful to or for the best interests of the City of McHenry to retain ownership of the personal property hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Mayor and City Council of the City of McHenry to sell said personal property at public auction for cash. SECTION 3: Upon payment of the full auction bid price, the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to convey and/or transfer title to the aforesaid personal property to the successful bidder. SECTION 4: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage of at least three -fourths of the corporate authorities, and approval in the manner provided by law.
