Ab sent;none With the consent of` the- Aldermen Mr James Sayler assist during the meeting ed the Clerk Motion by Kreutzer,seconded by Freund,.tha.#the minutes of~ the previous regular and special meetings be approved as corrected and read.Motion carried. Motion by Overton,seconded by Ferwerda,that the Treasurers report be approved as read showing a balance of $ 21878.54.Niotion carried. Motion by Freudtd,seconded by Overton,,that the Collectors report be accepted as- read.Motion carried. Motion by Buss,seconded by Justen,that the Clerks report be accepted as—read—Motion carried. The milk Ordinance was discussed and it was left in the hands of the license committee Ferwerda,Overton & Buss to enforce the Ordinance . At the P J Cleary property ther water runs over the sidewalk the side— walk committee- Freund,Buss & Overton were- asked to look after this. r It was Suggested that a bronze plate with all the names of the Alder- men and City Council on it be purchased for the new- Disposal Plant.The Plate would cost about $ 60.00.Mayor Doherty said he would write and ask if it can come out of P_W-A..funds-,if not he thought the price was tce high. Alderman Ferwerda reported that where new- cement is on old cement sewage is Seeping out and the ground is wet. 1ayor Doherty suggested to wash it down with cemen-t.This matter- to be taken up when final papers are up for approval. A copy of a letter from th6 Wells Engineering Co to the Sanitary Water Board regarding tests and laboratory a(tuijimefttsgesas &tynfor the sewer- d.isposal plant was read and placed on file . A letter from the Federal Emergency Administration authorizing the West McHenry State Bank as- & depository for the special sewer fund was read and placed on file. The guarantee of the American Well Works covering the mechanical ae-rators- wasp read, and ordered placed an file. The Mayor orders* that tickets be issued for vehicle and dog: li-cense. Alderman 1b9PVV adsb steel that notice� be printed for all delingtzernt license to be paid. The only bid on a sprinkler pump was from Paul Oerasch.The bid being: 89.00 without cover and $ 94.00 with weatherproof cover. Auditor J W North made- a report on the Audit of the City' s books and a Motion was made by Overton,se-aonded by Justen,to pay the Of J W North & Co foff- Audit services in the amount of $ 200.00*-as11 approved by the finance committae'aotion carried. Mr` North suggested that inventory be taken of all Public Property. Grading. on all Streets to be graded was- ordered_ started at once.
