AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF
PROFESSIONAL PLAZA DRIVE TO MERCY DRIVE
IN THE CITY OF MCHENRY
WHEREAS, on April 14, 2003, the Corporate Authorities of the City of McHenry
annexed certain real property located on the east side of Route 31, south of Bull
Valley/Charles J. Miller Road, which property included the previously dedicated right -
way for Professional Plaza Drive; and
WHEREAS, a request was received to change the name of Professional Plaza
Drive to Mercy Drive; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the proposed street name change
and has no objections to change the name of Professional Plaza Drive to Mercy Drive.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MCHENRY, MCHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That Professional Plaza Drive in Nunda Township shall hereinafter
be renamed to Mercy Drive.
SECTION 2: All ordinances of parts thereof in conflict with the terms and
provisions hereof are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and under
the authority of the Corporate Authorities of the City of McHenry, McHenry County,
Illinois.

SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
SECTION 5: A certified copy of this ordinance shall be recorded with the
McHenry County Recorder of Deeds office.
