OCTOBER 3RD, 1938
The City Council met in regular monthly meeting
with Mayor Overton presiding. Aldermen present : Bolger,
Buss , Freund, Kreutzer. Absent: Ferwerda, Regner
Motion by Kreutzer, seconded by Freund that the
minutes of the previous meeting held September 6th, be
111 approved as read . Motion carried.
Motion by Freund , seconded by Bolger, to approve
the city treasurer 's report as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Freund, seconded by Rreutzer, that
the collector ' s report be approved as read . Motion carried.
Motion by Bolger, seconded by Kreutzer, that
the clerk 's report be approved as read . Motion carried.
Motion by Kreutzer, seconded by Buss, that the
following bills be paid as approved by the finance committee .

Motion by Buss, seconded by Bolger, to pay Kelly
Well Company $1500.00, s per contract on new gravel packed
well . Motion carried.
Motion by Buss, seconded by Kreutzer, to pay
Joseph H. Huemann and Sons $612.75qor labor on well .
Lotion carried .
Bidder 's Proposals to furnish Motor Driven Centrifugal
Deep Well Pumping Unit were received and turned over to
Engineer Kasser 's office for inspection.
Motion by Kreutzer, seconded by Bolger, to adjourn
the meeting to the call of the mayor. Motion carried.
Mayor Overton designated the following; Monday
Octobe 10th a 8:00 P.M. as the time of meeting to decide
on r t and the completion of business at hand.
