FEB. 5TH, 1940
' The regular monthly meeting was called to order
by Alderman John A. Bolger, who was acting in the capacity
of Mayor of the City during the absence of Mayor Overton.
Aldermen present : Bolger, Buss, Freund , Nye , Regner.
Absent: Mayor Overton and Alderman Ferwerda.
Motion by Buss, seconded by Nye , that the
minutes of the last regular meeting be approved as read.
motion carried.
Motion by Freund, seconded by Buss, to approve
the Treasurer 's report as read , showing the following
balances : Regular Account , $6,014.73; Motor Fuet , $509.24;
Sewer, $2,318.79; Special Assessment , $25S2.52 . Motion
carried.
Motion by Regner, seconded by Nye, that the
collector 's report be approved as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Nye, seconded by Freund, that the
clerk' s report be approved as read . Motion carried.
Motion by Nye , seconded by Regner, that the
following bills be paid as approved by the finance
committee. Motion carried.

was discussed with a representative of Engineer Kasser 's
office. Action was deferred until such time as the entire
board convenes.
