Aldermen present : Bolger, Buss, Fer- werda, Freund, Nye and Regner. Absent : None. ' Motion by Bolger, seconded by Ferwerda, to approve the minutes of the annual meeting held April 21st, 1941; the special meeting held April 21st, 1941 ; the special meeting held April 28th, 1941. Motion carried. Motion by Regner, seconded by Freund,- that, • the treasurer' s aeport be approved as read. Motion carried. Motion by Terwerda, seconded by Bolger, that the collectors report be approved as read. Motion carried. Motion by Regner, seconded by Freund, that the clerk' s report be approved as read. Motion carried. Motion by Regner, seconded by Nye, that the following bills be paid as approved by the finance committed. Motion carried. Motion by Ferwerda, seconded by Renger, to approve the city clerk' s bond with Earl R. Walsh as principal and the Employers ' Liability Assurance Corporation as surety. Motion carried. Motion by Regner, seconded by Nye, to continue the Summer ' Playground Program in connection with the schools and to pay the sum of $40.00 per month during June, July and August to L.J. McCracken for services as supervisor. Motion carried. Motion by Ferwerda, seconded by Bolger, to hire J.W. North 8c Company to audit the city books. Motion carried. Motion by Ferwerda, seconded by Freund, to approve the issuance of Class "A" Tavern licenses to Catherine Hepp. Motion carried. Motion by Ferwerda, seconded by Buss, to enter into an agreement, as rea; with David R. Joslyn, Attorney at Law, regarding personal property tax of the Estate of John B. Kelter.
