FEBRUARY 2ND, 1942
li The City Council met in regular monthly meeting
with Mayor Overton presiding. Aldermen present : Ferwerda,
Freund, Nye, Regner, Buss. Absent : Bolger.
Motion by Freund, seconded by Regner, that the
minutes of the last regular meeting be approved as read.
Motion carried.
Auditor J. W. North reviewed Special Assessment
accounts with the Council.
Motion by Ferwerda, seconded by Nye, that the
treasurer' s report be approved as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Regner, seconded by Ferwerda, that the
collector' s report be approved as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Nye, seconded by Buss , that the clerk's
report be approved as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Regner, seconded by Ferwerda, that the
following bills be paid as approved by the finance committee.

approve the application of the local American Legion
Post #491 for permit to hold a Carnival in Legion Park
on July 2, 3, 4 and 5, 1942. Motion carried.
Motion by Buss, seconded by Ferwerda, to adjourn.
