NOVEMBER 2ND,
The City Council met in regular monthly meeting with
Mayor Overton presiding. Aldermen present: Buss, Ferwerda,
Freund, Nye. Regner.
Motion by Freund, seconded by Buss, that the minutes
of the last regular meeting be approved as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Regner, seconded by Ferwerda, that the
treasurer's report be approved as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Nye , seconded by Regner, that the collector's
report be approved as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Ferwerda, seconded by Nye , that the clerk's
report be approved as read.
Motion carried.
Motion by Ferwerda, seconded by Regner, that the

an Ordinance Appointing the Members of the Board of Local Improve-
ments for the City of McHenry as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Buss ,
seconded by Ferwerda, as depository of to pass resolution
as read designating the West McHenry State Bank
funds for the city treasurer. Motion carried.
Motion by Regner,
seconded by Nye , to pass the following
resolution. Motion carried:

Whereas the death of our friend and fellow city official
is taken as a great loss to the City of McHenry and to his many
friends who held him in high esteem; yet realizing that our sorrow
of his departure is surpassed by that of his grief stricken wife and
family, and
Whereas his many years of able and efficient public service
have endeared him to the people of this City,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
