Aldermen present: Buss, Ferwerda, Freund, Nye. Regner. Motion by Freund, seconded by Buss, that the minutes of the last regular meeting be approved as read. Motion carried. Motion by Regner, seconded by Ferwerda, that the treasurer's report be approved as read. Motion carried. Motion by Nye , seconded by Regner, that the collector's report be approved as read. Motion carried. Motion by Ferwerda, seconded by Nye , that the clerk's report be approved as read. Motion carried. Motion by Buss , seconded by Ferwerda, as depository of to pass resolution as read designating the West McHenry State Bank funds for the city treasurer. Motion carried. Motion by Regner, seconded by Nye , to pass the following resolution. Motion carried: RESOLUTION OF THE DEATH OF JOHN A. BOLGER WHEREAS Divine Providence has takewho nforomsour f midst John nhA. Bolger, an alderman of the City of McHenry, h members of the Council and a loyal public servant , and Whereas the death of our friend and fellow city official is taken as a great loss to the City of McHenry and to his many friends who held him in high esteem; yet realizing that our sorrow of his departure is surpassed by that of his grief stricken wife and family, and Whereas his many years of able and efficient public service have endeared him to the people of this City, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City to of McHenry that we hereby express our deep and sincere sympathy has the widow and family of our friend mourn re loss w ando trsoyr merited the come to them; that with them we respect and high regard of the people of McHenry, and we share with them a memory of a lif e:�nobly spent in service to his fellowmen and to the City of McHenry, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be spread upon the record of this meeting and that a copy thereof be forwarded by the Clerk to the widow and family of our beloved friend.
