AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ADDRESS
OF JAYCEE PARK FROM 200 BARNWOOD TRAIL TO 115 SOUTH CROSS TRAIL
IN THE CITY OF MCHENRY
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the City of McHenry approved a final
plat of subdivision for the Trails of Winding Creek; and
WHEREAS, the park site labeled Jaycee Park was assigned an address of 200
Barnwood Trail by the City; and
WHEREAS, due to completion of later phases of the subdivision, the primary
access to the park changed from Barnwood Trail to Cross Trail necessitating a change
in the address for the park; and
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the City of McHenry are required to
initiate all such address changes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the proposed address change and
has no objections to change the address from 200 Barnwood Trail to 115 South Cross
Trail.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MCHENRY, MCHENRY COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the address for Jaycee Park in the Trails of Winding Creek
Subdivision be hereinafter changed from 200 Barnwood Trail to 115 South Cross Trail.
SECTION 2: That notice of such address change be made to the McHenry Post
Office by certified or registered mail.
SECTION 3: All ordinances of parts thereof in conflict with the terms and
provisions hereof are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form by and under
the authority of the Corporate Authorities of the City of McHenry, McHenry County,
Illinois.
SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
SECTION 6: A certified copy of this ordinance shall be recorded with the
McHenry County Recorder of Deeds office.
