NOIVEMBER 3RD, 1947
The City Council met in regular semi-monthly meeting Wd.Mi
11 Mayor Overton presiding. Aldermen present: Althoff, George J. Freund,
George P. Freund, Regner, Tonyan. Absent: Anderson.
Motion by Regner, seconded by George J. Freund, that the
minutes of the last meeting be approved as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Althoff, seconded by Tonyan, that the treasurer's
report be approved as read. Motion carried.
Motion by George P. Freund, seconded by Althoff, that the
collector 's report be approved as read. Motion carried.
Motion by George J. Freund, seconded by Regner, that the
clerk' s report be approved as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Althoff, seconded by Regner, to pass and approve
resolution as read to State of Illinois Highway Department requesting
permit for sewer construction on Front Street south from John Street.
Motion carried.
Motion by Althoff, seconded by Tonyan, to pass and approve
resolution as read authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to sign
application to State of Illinois, Division of Waterways, for permit
to construct sea wall along City of McHenry park property adjacent
to Fox River. Motion carried.
Motion by George J. Freund, seconded by Regner, that the
following bills be paid as approved by the finance committee:

Department, appeared before the Council to extend an invitation to
attend a meeting of the County Firemen's Association to be held
November 17th in McHenry.
Motion by George P. Freund, seconded by Althoff , to approve
the designation- of the following Judges and Clerks of election for
City Election to be held November 13, 1947 pertaining Bridge Bonds;.
First Ward:
