NOVEMBER 7, 1949
The City Council met in regular semi-monthly meeting with Mayor
Freund presiding. Aldermen present: Althoff, Anderson, Blake, Freund,
Vycital. Absent: Tonyan.
11111 Motion by Freund, seconded by Anderson, that the minutes of the
last meeting be approved as read. Motion carried.

Motion by Althoff, seconded by Freund, that the treasurer's report
be approved as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Vycital, seconded by Blake, that the collector's report
be approved as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Anderson, seconded by Blake, that the clerk's report
be approved as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Blake, seconded by Anderson, that the following bills be

William Green, Commander of McHenry Post #491 American Legion, was
present to request Proclamation for display of American Flags Sunday, November 13,
1949, the date of dedication of the new Legion Home. Parking arrangements were
also requested and agreed upon.
A letter from the State of Illinois, Department of Health, approving
McHenry city water, was read to the Council. The clerk was directed to publish
the letter.
Motion by Althoff, seconded by Freund, to adjourn. Motion carried.
