Aldermen present: Anderson, Blake, Freund, Vyoital. Absent: Althoff. Motion by Anderson, seconded by Blake, that the minutes of the last meeting be approved as read. Motion carried. Motion by Vycital, seconded by Freund, that the treasurer's report be approved as read. Motion carried. Motion by Freund, seconded by Anderson, that the collectors report be approved as read. Motion carried. Motion by Blake, seconded by Vycital, that the clerk's report be approved as read. Motion carried. Felts Salary 135.00 #748 Mayme Buss Clerical 20.00 #749 Carey Electric Shop Extension cord 3.32 #750 Weber Plumbing & Heating Labor at disposal plant 6.00 #751 Hester Oil Company Oil 48.23 #752 Public Service Company Power & light 51.70 Motion by Vycital, seconded by Freund, tp pass the following resolution: "WHEREAS funds, in the amount of three Thousand Three Hundred Thirty- seven Dollars and Fifty Cents (43337.50) will be available from other sources for therretirement of a part of Green Street Bridge Bonds due July 1, 1950 and January 1, 1951 and whereas no tax levy will be required for said amount NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Clerk be instructed to notify the County Clerk of McHenry County to reduce the levy for the year 1950 by the amount of Three Thousand Three Hundred Thirty-seven Dollars and Fifty Cants ($3337.50)." Motion carried. Motion by Blake, seconded by Freund, to grant permit to the Y.F.W. Fox River Post No. 4600 permitting use of the City Park for carnival to be held August 10th to August 13th (inclusive), 1950. Motion carried. Motion by Freund, seconded by Vycital, to adjourn.
