HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - 04/26/1951 - City Council (2) SPECIAL MEETING APRIL 26, 1951 Following adjournment of the Annual Meeting, the City Council reconvened in special meeting for the purpose of acting on Alcoholic Beverage License applications and other business that might come before the Council. With Mayor Freund presiding, the following roll call was recorded: Althoff, Anderson, Freund, Rothermel, Thennes, Vycital. Absent: None. Motion by Althoff, seconded by Rothermel, to approve applications of the following for Class "A" Alcoholic Beverage Licenses: Herman C. Buck and Erma Buck Ernie Freund and Carolyn Justen Winfield W. Hagberg Art & Lee Henschel Frank J. Holt Cubs Inn -• Anton Joknis, Prop. McHenry Country Club Harold F. Miller A. E. Noonan, Sr. and A. E. Noonan, Jr. Anthony G. Paluch Bernard J. Peschke Ernesto Pieroni Al Phannenstill R. Place, Inc. Riverside Hotel, Inc. John A. Thennes Gus Unti Marie S. Yegge Motion carried. Motion by Freund, seconded by Thennes, to approve the application of the American Legion Post #1491 for Class "F" Alcoholic Beverage License. Motion carried. Motion by Anderson, seconded by Vycital, to approve the applications of Thomas P. Bolger and H. F. Nye for Class "C" Packaged Liquor Licenses. Motion carried. Motion by Anderson, seconded by Rothermel, to hire the firm of J. W. North & Co. to make the annual audit of the city books. Motion carried. Motion by Althoff, seconded by Freund, to adjourn.
