SEPTEMBER 15, 1952
The City Council met in regular semi—monthly meeting with Mayor
Freund presiding. Aldermen present: Althoff, Anderson, Freund, Thennes,
Vycital. Absent: Rothermel.
111 Motion by Freund, seconded by Vycital, that the minutes of the
last meeting be approved as read. Motion carried.
A delegation from Mill Stream Subdivision recommended restoration
of stop signs on Illinois Route 31. The request was referred to the Chief of
Police to report to the State of Illinois Division of Highways.
The same delegation requested the cooperation of the City Council
in having their streets put in proper condition to be accepted by the city..
Cooperation was assured.
A survey, prepared by the clerk, showing a comparison of various
license and permit fees charged by cities in the county, was referred to the
license committee for study.
A report of the Police Department activities was received by the
Council.
Motion by Althoff, seconded by Freund, to adjourn. Motion carried.
