Aldermen present: Anderson, Buchert, Freund, Johnson, Thennes. Absent: Rothermel. 110 Motion by Freund, seconded by Anderson, to approve the minutes of the last meeting as read. Motion carried. Motion by Anderson, seconded by Johnson, to approve the treasurer's report as read. Motion carried. Motion by Freund, seconded by Buchert, to approve the collector's report as read. Motion carried. Motion by Thennes, seconded by Anderson, to approve the clerk's report as read. Motion carried. Motion by Thennes, seconded by Johnson, to pass and approve resolution, as read, pertaining "An Act in Relation to Classification and Planning of Public Improve- ments" referred to as long-range road plan. Motion carried. Following reading of a petition from residents of Grove Street, Cooney Heights Subdivision, requesting street lights, Alderman Anderson, seconded by Alderman Freund, moved that the request be referred to the Public Service Company. Motion carried. Motion by Thennes, seconded by Anderson, to approve bid submitted by Harold J. Freund to decorate the city hall interior. Motion carried. Motion by Johnson, seconded by Buchert, to pass and approve amendment to ordinance governing parking meters, increasing penalty for violations from ten (10) cents to twenty-five (25) cents.
