FEBRUARY 1, 1954
The City Council met in regular semi-monthly meeting with Mayor Freund
presiding. Aldermen present: Buchert, Freund, Johnson, Rothermel, Thennes.
Absent: Anderson.
1110 Motion by Thennes, seconded by Johnson, to approve the minutes of the
last meeting as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Buchert, seconded by Freund, to approve the treasurer's report
as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Rothermel, seconded by Thennes, to approve the colledtor's
repeat as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Freund, seconded by Johnson, to approve the clerk's report
as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Rothermel, seconded by Buchert, to pay the following bills as
approved by the finance committee:

Tongan Construction Company in the amount of $476.00 covering new floor and repairs
to the City Hall. Motion carried.

need of widening Elm Street from the Easterly city limits to Richmond Road, requesting
assistance from the State Department. Motion carried.
