AUGUST 2, 1954
The City Council met in regular semi-monthly meeting with Mayor Freund
presiding. Aldermen present: Anderson, Buchert, Freund, Johnson, Thennes.
Absent: Rothermel.
0 . Motion by Freund, sedonded by Anderson, that the minutes of the last regular
meeting and the special meeting held July 22, 1954 be approved as read. Motion
carried.
Motion by Anderson, seconded by Buchert, that the treasurer's report be
approved as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Freund, seconded by Johnson, that the collector's report be
approved as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Thennes, seconded by Buchert, that the clerk's report be
approved as read. Notion carried.
Motion by Johnson, seconded by Buchert, that the following bills be paid
as approved by the finance committee:

Ballman and Main regarding purchase of bonds for proposed enlargement of sewage
disposal plant. Voting Ayes Anderson, Buchert, Freund, Johnson, Thennes. Voting
Nays None. Motion carried.
Motion by Buchert, seconded by Anderson, to approve and accept Bituminous
Surface placed in Allen Avenue by the McHenry Sand & Gravel Company, as per recommenda-
tion of Victor H. Kasser, City Engineer. Motion carried.
Motion by Freund, seconded by Anderson, to adjourn. Motion carried.
