Aldermen present: Antonson, Brown, Dixon, Gausden, Kauss. Absent: Buchert. 1111 Motion by Gausden, seconded by Brown, to approve the minutes of the last meeting as read. Motion carried. Motion by Brown, seconded by Antonson, to approve the treasurer's report as read. Motion carried. Motion by Antonson, seconded by Gausden, to approve the collector's report as read. Motion carried. Motion by Brown, seconded by Dixon, to approve the clerk's report as read. Motion carried. Service Company Power & light 66.43v\ Alderman Antonson presented an ordinance entitled "An Ordinance providing for the issue of $160,000 Sewer Improvement Refunding Bonds of the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, and describing details of issue." Alderman Brown, seconded by Alderman Dixon, moved that the ordinance be adopted. Ayes: Antonson, Brown, Dixon, Gausden, Kauss. Nays: None. The Mayor declared the motion carried and the ordinance Adopted. Motion by Brown, seconded by Antonson, to approve request for withdrawal of funds from the Waterworks and Sewerage System Bond Construction Account for payment of the following: Tonyan Construction Company $58,692.60 W. A. Rakow & Associates, Engineers . $11,745.21 Motion carried. Motion by Gausden, seconded by Kauss, to pay Bob Breul's Harley-Davidson the sum of $1210.00, the agreed cost of new motorcycle delivered to the City of McHenry. Motion carried. Motion by Gausden, seconded by Brown, to pass and approve resolution to 1110 the State of Illinois in the amount of $6000.00 appropriating engineering costs in connection with widening of Elm Street, MFT Section 5-C.S., State Section 14-X-Z, this resolution supplementing a resolution adopted by the Council, January 16, 1956. Motion carried. Motion by Kauss, seconded by Antonson, to adjourn. Motion carried. c .. 12 // ii RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of McHenry, Illinois that the Engineers' plans, submitted by W. A. Rakow and Associates, for widening Elm Street in the City of McHenry under (State Section 1h-R-Z) Motor Fuel Tax Section 5-C.S. be approved. I, Earl R. Walsh, City Clerk of the City of McHenry, hereby certify the above to be a true copy of resolution passed by the Council of the City of McHenry, County of McHenry, State of Illinois, at a regular meeting held May 21, 1956.
