Aldermen present: Antonson, Brown, Buchert, Dixon, Gausden. Absent: Kauss. Motion by Brown, seconded by Buchert, to approve the minutes of the last 11 regular meeting and the special meetings held October 27, 1956 and November 1, 1956 as read. Motion carried. Motion by Antonson, seconded by Dixon, to approve the treasurer's report for the month of September as read. Motion carried. Motion by Brown, seconded by Buchert, to approve the treasurer's report for the month of October as read. Motion carried. Motion by Buchert, seconded by Dixon, to approve the collector's report as read. Motion carried. Motion by Buchert, seconded by Antonson, to approve the clerk's report as read. Motion carried. Motion carried. Motion by Antonson, seconded by Brown, that the city expend the sum of $350.00 to help defray cost of Christmas Decoration Program sponsored by the #11758 McHenry Chamber of Commerce. Motion carried. Motion by Buchert, seconded by Dixon, to pay Clark Chevrolet Sales the sum of $2195.00 covering invoice on new police car delivered as per bid. Motion carried. Motion by Buchert, seconded by Dixon, to pass and approve resolution approving petition of Clarence Regner for zoning reclassification, as recommended by the Zoning Board of Appeals. Motion carried. Motion by Brown, seconded by Buchert, to pass and approve resolution approving petition of the State Bank of Woodstock as Trustee under Trust No. 1066 for zoning reclassification, as recommended by the Zoning Board of Appeals. Motion carried. Motion by Brown, seconded by Dixon, to pass and approve resolution denying petition of Charles J. Miller and Dorothy E. Miller for zoning reclassification of property to "I-1", but granting variation as outlined in recommendation of the Zoning Board of Appeals. Motion carried. Motion by Gausden, seconded by Buchert, to pass and approve amendment to the existing ordinance concerning Plats, Surveys and Dedications, said amendment pertaining roadways. Motion carried.
