SEPTEMBER 15, 1958
The City Council met in regular semi-monthly meeting with Mayor Freund presiding.
Aldermen presents Bolger, Brown, Holly, Newkirk, Pitsen, Thennes. Absents None.
Motion by Thermos, seconded by Pitsen, to approve the minutes of the last meeting
as read. Motion carried.

Motion by Bolger, seconded by Pitzen, to grant permission to the Woodstock Children's
Home to solicit funds in McHenry as per request, a non-conflicting date to be agreed upon.
Motion carried.
Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Holly, to permit The Volunteers of America to conduct
a Tag Day in McHenry on October 12, 1958. Motion carried.
A delegation of property owners from Edgebrook Heights and adjoining area requested uu
the Council to take further action in the formation of a Planning Commission and consider /`
entering into an agreement with a Planning Consultant.
Reports of officers were received by the Council.
Preparation of an ordinance controlling scooters was referred to the City Attorney.
Motion by Brawn, seconded by Holly, to adjourn. Motion carried.
