Due to the regular meeting date of the McHenry City Council, Feb. 15, 1971, being a Legal Holiday, the meeting was he the following day in accordance with pro- visions in the Municipal Code. Mayor Doherty presided. following aldermen were present: Rogers, Smith, Stanek. Absent: At roll call, the Bolger, Hromec, Jackson, Huck, *Pitzen. Motion by Bolger, seconded by Stanek, to approve the minutes of the February lst regular meeting as read. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Hromec, H1���, Jackson, xogers, Smith, Stanek. Voting "Nay°i: None. Absent: Huck, Pitzen. Motion carried. *Alderman Pitzen was present at this point in the meeting - 8:08 P.M. Motion by Rogers, seconded by Stanek, to deny the petition, which was recommended by the Zoning Board of Appeals for approval, of Lee J. and Carol Cooney for reclassification of property. Motion by Stanek, seconded by Rogers, to accept the offer made by the State of Illinois Division of High- ways concerning reconstruction of Ill. Rt. 120 West in the City of McHenry, the sum of $160,000.00 to be paid by Af the City through use of Motor Fuel Tax Funds and to re- quest confirmation from the State. Motion by Smith, seconded by Rogers, to table the proposals for changes in the Lee J. & Carol Cooney Zoning petition to a later date. Motion by Rogers, seconded by Stanek, to approve the application of the Easter Seal Society for McHenry County, through the McHenry Rotary Club, to conduct a Tag Day in McHenry on Saturday, April 3, 1971.
