Aldermen present: Bolger, Etten, Huck, Pitzen, Smith. Absent: Conway. Motion by Bolger, seconded by Etten, to approve the minutes of the last meeting held January 20, 1964. Motion carried. `. Motion by Huck, seconded by Smith, to approve the treasurer's report as read. Motion carried. Motion by Smith, seconded by Etten, to approve the clerk's report as read. Motion carried. Looze to direct a letter to the McHenry County Title Company advising that 201 sanitary sewer easement across Boone Creek does not affect the McHenry Hospital property. Motion carried. Motion by Smith, seconded by Huck, to pass and approve resolution directing W. A. Rakow and Associates (Engineers) to secure license from the C. & N. P. Railway to construct sanitary sewer main from Maple Avenue westerly to the industrial property. Motion carried. Motion by Smith, seconded by Bolger, to approve the application of the Salvation Army to conduct their annual Doughnut Day (Tag Day) in McHenry on June 12, 1964. Motion carried. `" Alderman Bolger, seconded by Alderman Huck, presented a resolution to be presented to Coach Clifton D. Fulton of McHenry Community High School and moved its adoption. Bolger presented the following resolution at a regu"k. The motion was seconded by Alderman Huck and, upon roll call, declared carried. SAS, the City Council and the Citizens of the City of McHenry have long recognised the correlation between athletics and educational programs, and WHEREAS, competitive athletic endeavors are recognized as reflecting tremendous benefits to the youths of McHenry, and WIlTEREAS, attention is given to placing the youths of our community under the supervision, leadership and guidance of stile and upstanding persona, and WHEREAS, each year, interest runs high in the progress of the McHenry Warrior basketball team, and WHEREAS, McHenry basketball teams have sham great determination and eagerness to perform to the best of their abilities, and WHEREAS, the players on McHenry teams have shown a fine spirit of sportsmanship, and WHEREAS, the above listed results have been accomplished under the guidance of Coach Clifton r. "Cliff" Fulton for many years, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Coach Fulton, his assistants and players be commended for their outstanding contribution to the proper development and ultimate well being of the City of McHenry and the McHenry area, CITY OF MCHENRY DONALD .DOR 1'X MAT =r�7 i Attests }
