MARCH 2, 1964
The City Council met in regular semi-monthly meeting
with Mayor Dohery presiding. Aldermen present: Bolger, Conway,
Huck, Pitzen, Smith. Absent: Etten.
Motion by Huck, seconded by Bolger, to approve the minutes
of Regular Meeting held February 17, 1964 and Special Meeting held
February 24, 1964. Motion carried.
Motion by Smith, seconded by Conway, to approve the treasurer's
report as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Conway, seconded by Bolger, to approve the clerk's
report as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Huck, to pay the following bills
as approved by the finance committee: Motion carried.

Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Conway, to authorize transfer of
$2448.56, balance in the Waterworks Improvement Fund, to the General Fund. Ck.#99
Motion carried.
Motion by Bolger, seconded by Pitzen, to approve the application
of the McHenry American Legion Post No. 491 to conduct a carnival on the
applicant's grounds July 1 through July 5, 1964, including permission for
fireworks display on July 5th. Motion carried.
Motion by Huck, seconded by Smith, to adjourn. Motion carried.
