Aldermen present: Bolger, Conway, Etten, Huck, Pitzen, Smith. Absent: None. Motion by Huck, seconded by Smith, to approve the minutes of regular meeting held March 16, 1964. Motion carried. Motion by Conway, seconded by Etten, to approve the treasurer's report as read. Motion carried. Motion by Huck, seconded by Conway, to approve the clerk's report as read. Motion carried. Sheehan regarding dangerous building and take action according to the Code. Motion carried. Motion by Smith, seconded by Pitzen, to authorize the City Attorney to notify the owner of dangerous building (on Third Street between Waukegan Road and Elm Street), partially destroyed by fire, and take proper action according to the Code, granting a stay of seven (7) days. Motion carried Motion by Etten, seconded by Huck, to grant permit for Fiesta Day Parade and to contribute $300.00 toward promotion expenses for Fiesta Day, Ck.#2665 July 19, 1964. Motion carried. --1 Regular Meeting, April 6, 1964 Page three Motion by Conway, seconded by Smith, to pass and approve Resolution to the Department of Public Works and Buildings of the State of Illinois covering work on State right of way, the resolution being on a yearly basis. Motion carried. Motion by Huck, seconded by Smith, to adopt plan submitted by the local fire department for painting fire hydrants. Motion carried. ..— Motion by Smith, seconded by Conway, to enter into agreement with W. A. Rakow and Associates to perform Motor Fuel Tax engineering services for period from May I, 1964 to April 30, 1965. All Members present voted "Yes" with the exception of Alderman Pitzen who passed. Motion carried. Motion by Huck, seconded by Smith, to convene at 8 P.M., Monday, April 27, 1964 for the Annual Meeting of the City Council and to change the meeting date of the first regular meeting in May 1964 from Monday, May 4th to Tuesday, May 5th. Motion carried. Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Huck, to grant permission to the McHenry Pony League to hold a Tag Day in the City of McHenry on May 16, 1964. Motion carried.
