MONDAY
NOVEMBER 30, 1964
At the call of Mayor Doherty, a Special Meeting
of the McHenry City Council was held Monday, November 30,
1964 at 8 P.M. in the City Hall. The purpose of the meeting
was to receive and review audit reports, which were presented
by Wm. R. North, and to act on purchase of new police car.
Upon roll call all members were found present.
Motion by Smith, seconded by Pitzen, to approve the
audit reports covering the general fund and water and sewer
fund as submitted by Wm. R. North. Motion carried.
Motion by Conway, seconded by Huck, to pay Wm. R.
North $300.00 balance due for preparation of audit covering Ck. #3455
Water and Sewer Accounts. Motion carried.
Motion by Bolger, seconded by Smith, to open bids on
new police car. Motion carried.
The following bids were submitted and read, for furnishing
new 1965 Police car, allowing for trade-in of 1963 Plymouth Police
Car.
Buss Ford Sales $1690.00
"C" Abbate Ford Sales, Inc. - - $1400.00
Fury Motors $1900.00
Motion by Huck, seconded by Smith, to purchase 1965
Ford Police Car from Buss Ford Sales as per bid submitted.

Voting "No": Bolger.
Voting "Yes": Conway, Etten, Huck, Pitzen, Smith.
Motion carried.
Motion by Conway, seconded by Pitzen, to authorize the
City Clerk to pay for new police car when delivered. Motion carried. Ck. #3200
Motion by Huck, seconded by Smith, to adjourn. Motion carried.
