FEBRUARY 4, 1963
The City Council met in regular semi-monthly meeting
with Mayor Doherty presiding. Aldermen present: Bolger, Conway,
Etten, Huck, Pitzen, Smith. Absent: None.
Motion by Conway, seconded by Bolger, to approve the minutes
of last regular meeting held January 21st. Motion carried.
Motion by Huck, seconded by Bolger, to approve the treasurer' s
report as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Bolger, seconded by Etten, to approve the clerk's
report as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Smith, seconded by Etten, to pay the following bills
as approved by the finance committee:

Motion by Bolger, seconded by Huck, to approve the petition of
Thomas L. Lagios and Virginia M. Lagios for Zoning Variation subject to
recommendations and restrictions as outlined by the Zoning Board of Appeals,
a copy of which is attached to these minutes. Motion carried. * *
Motion by Conway, seconded by Huck, to approve transfer of current
Alcoholic Beverage License from Robert Chrisman to Ernest Muzzillo upon
surrender of license by Robert Chrisman. Motion carried.
Motion by- Bolger, seconded by Conway, to adopt resolution providing
for a joint City-State improvement along Illinois Route 120 and Illinois
Route 31. Motion carried.
Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Huck, to pass and approve ordinance
requiring parallel parking within the limits of Joint City-State road improve-
ment (Sec. 13CS). Motion carried.
Motion by Smith, seconded by Etten, to pass and approve ordinance
prohibiting the discharge of sanitary sewage and industrial waste water into
any storm sewers constructed as part of Joint City-State road improvement
(Sec. 13CS). Motion carried.
** Upon roll call the following Aldermen voted "Yes": Bolger, Conway, Huck.
Voting "No": Etten, Pitzen, Smith. There being a tie vote, Mayor Doherty
cast the deciding vote, voting "Yes" and declaring the motion carried.

Motion by Bolger, seconded by Huck, to pass and approve 1963
Election Ordinance pertaining regular election April 16, 1963. Motion carried.
Motion by Bolger, seconded by Etten, to approve transfer of
current Alcoholic Beverage License from Elizabeth Gende to Catherine B.
Nolan upon surrender of license by Elizabeth Gende. Motion carried.
Motion by Conway, seconded by Huck, to approve an expenditure
of $200.00 for engineering services in establishing sea wall lines along
Fox River for submission to State of Illinois Division of Waterways for
approval. Motion carried.
Motion by Huck, Seconded by Smith, to adjourn. Motion carried.
