OCTOBER 6, 1969
The City Council met in regular semi-monthly meeting with
Mayor Doherty presiding. Aldermen present: Bolger, Hromec, Huck,
Jackson, Pitzen, Rogers, Stanek. Absent: Smith.
Motion by Bolger, seconded by Stanek, to approve minutes as read
of September 15, 1969 regular meeting,
Voting "Aye": Bolger, Hromec, Huck, Jackson, Pitzen, Rogers,
Stanek.
Voting "Nay": None.
Absent: Smith.
Motion carried.
Motion by Huck, seconded by Jackson, to approve the treasurer's
report as read.
Voting "Aye": Bolger, Hromec, Huck, Jackson, Pitzen, Rogers,
Stanek.
Voting "Nay": None.
Absent: Smith.
Motion carried.
Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Rogers, to approve the clerk's
report as read.

Motion by Rogers, seconded by Jackson, to approve payment of
the following bills.

be presented to Joseph Frett, a copy to be spread upon the minutes of
this meeting.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Joseph Frett is being honored by a legion of
friends at a special "Joe Frett Night" at the McHenry
Country Club on October 15, 1969 , and
WHEREAS, "Joe" has contributed so much time and effort
toward athletics, Civic betterment, and all phases of the
progressive growth of our Community, and
WHEREAS, he is held in high esteem by all who know
him and are privileged to call him a true friend.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of McHenry go on record as recognizing this
outstanding citizen and his many good works and deeds .
Further, that this Resolution be spread upon the minutes
of this meeting and a copy be presented to him.
Alderman Bolger, seconded by Alderman Jackson, moved,
with unanimous approval, that this Resolution be adopted.
