Aldermen present: Bolger, Etten, Huck, Jackson, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Wegener. Absent: Hromec. Motion by Rogers, seconded by Etten, to approve annual and special meetings held April 29th as read. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Etten, Huck, Jackson, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: Hromec. Motion carried. Motion by Huck, seconded by Jackson, to approve the clerk's report as read. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Etten, Huck, Jackson, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: Hromec. Regular Meeting - May 6, 1968 #3 The following bids on new police car were received: Sunnyside Dodge Company - 1968 Dodge Polara Police Pursuit $1,623.25 Sunnyside Dodge Company - 1968 Dodge Coronet Police Pursuit $1,420. 40 AZ Collingbourne Buick-Olds,Inc. - 1968 Oldsmobile $1,694.00 __ All bids include trade-in of 1967 Ford Police car. Motion by Smith, seconded by Etten, to purchase 1968 Dodge Polara Police Pursuit car as per bid of $1,623. 25. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Etten, Huck, Jackson, Pitzen, (Ck.#322) Rogers, Smith, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: Hromec. Motion carried. Motion by Etten, seconded by Huck, to pay Northeastern Illinois Plan Commission a sustaining membership fee of $110.00. Motion by Huck, seconded by Jackson, to approve the application of McHenry Post No.491 American Legion to hold Memorial Day parade May 30, 1968. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Etten, Huck, Jackson, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: Hromec. ` Motion carried. It was moved by Pitzen, seconded by Jackson, to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute license agreement with the Chicago and North Western Railway Company to construct, maintain and use a storm sewer upon the property and under track of the Railway Company as shown (Ck. #292) on Exhibit A dated 3/14/68, and to pay the fixed license fee of $25.00 plus $120.00 flagging expense to the Railway Company. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Etten, Huck, Jackson, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Wegener. Voting "Nay': None. Absent: Hromec. Motion carried. Motion by Huck, seconded by Smith, to adjourn.
