Aldermen present: Bolger, Etten, Hromec, Huck, Jackson, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Wegener. Absent: None. Motion by Rogers, seconded by Huck, to approve the minutes of regular meeting held September 3rd as read. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Etten, Hromec, Huck, Jackson, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Huck, seconded by Wegener, to purchase new police radio equipment from Motorola Communications and Electronics, Inc. at an approximate cost of $1,400. 00. Motion carried. Regular Meeting - September 16, 1968 #2 Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Rogers, to approve the application of the McHenry Kiwanis Club to sponsor "Peanut Day" on September 27, 1968. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Etten, Hromec, Huck, Jackson, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Jackson, to accept the inspection report submitted by Baxter and Woodman, Civil and Sanitary Engineers, on the sanitary sewer and water main serving new high school on Crystal Lake Road. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Etten, Hromec, Huck, Jackson, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Huck, to authorize and instruct Baxter and Woodman, Civil and Sanitary Engineers, to prepare plans and specifications for cross town interceptor and sewerage treatment plant enlargement. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Etten, Hromec, Huck, Jackson, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Hromec, seconded by Wegener, to approve the appointment of Joseph T. Mahoney as Deputy Building Officer on a fee basis.
