Aldermen present: Bolger, Conway, Etten, Huck, Pitzen, Smith. Absent: None. Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Conway, to approve the minutes of the last regular meeting held September 17, 1962 and the special meeting held September 24, 1962. Motion carried. ._ Motion by Smith, seconded by Huck, to approve the treasurer' s report as read. Motion carried. Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Etten, to approve the clerk' s report as read. Motion by Bolger, seconded by Smith, to advertise for sealed bids on new street department truck, bids to be opened at regular meeting October 15, 1962. Motion carried. Motion by Conway, seconded by Etten, to authorize the Purchasing Committee to purchase a new snow plow. Motion carried. Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Huck, to accept the proposal of Baxter and Woodman, Civil and Sanitary Engineers, dated August 17, 1962, to make a comprehensive study of the sewage disposal plant. Motion carried. Motion by Conway, seconded by Smith, to donate $500.00 to the Chamber of Commerce to be used for Christmas decorations throughout the #1208 city. Motion carried.
