Aldermen present: Bolger, Brown, Conway, Holly, Pitzen, Thennes. Absent: None. Motion by Brown, seconded by Thennes to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held February 20, 1961 and special meeting held February 22, 1961 and March 3, 1961. Motion carried. Motion by Thennes, seconded by Holly, to approve the treasurer's report as read. Motion carried. Motion by Brown, seconded by Bolger, to approve the collector's report as read. Motion carried. Motion by Bolger, seconded by Thennes, to approve the clerk's report as read. Motion carried. Motion by Bolger, seconded by Thennes, to pass and approve ordinance annexing lots 78 and 79 in McHenry Golf Course Subdivision and lots 87 and 88 in McHenry Golf Course Subdivision, a copy of ordinance being attached to these minutes. Motion carried. Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Conway, to pay Graver Tank and Manufac- turing Company $11,293.02 from Waterworks Improvement Fund as per Engineer's certification of work completed on contract. Motion carried. Ck. #2272 ..-" Motion by Brown, seconded by Holly, to pass and approve Election Ordinance designating Polling Places and Judges for election to be held April 18, 1961. Motion carried. Motion by Conway, seconded by Brown, to grant the request of American Legion Post #491 to hold a carnival on their grounds June 30, July 1, 2, 3, 4, 1961. Motion carried. The clerk was instructed to request Jim Rakow, Engineer, to be present at the next regular meeting, March 20, to discuss plans for extension of water and sewer mains to the industrial area west of the C. & N.
