SPECIAL MEEETING
OCTOBER 5, 1961
A special meeting of the City Council was held in the City
Hall at 8 P.M., October 5, 1961, at the call of the mayor and following
notification of all aldermen. The purpose of the meeting was to hear
the report of the Zoning Commission on the Proposed Amended Zoning
Ordinance of the City of McHenry and to take necessary action on
public hearing.
Mayor Doherty presided at the meeting and upon roll call, the
following aldermen were present: Bolger, Conway, Pitzen, Schaefer,
Smith. Alderman Brown was absent.
Attorney Richard F. Babcock reviewed the proposed amended
zoning ordinance with the City Council and members of the Zoning
Commission present.
Alderman Pitzen, seconded by Alderman Smith, moved that the
City Clerk be authorized to publish public notice of hearing on Comp—
rehensive amendment to the Zoning ordinance of the City of McHenry,
hearing to be held November 2, 1961 at 8 P.M. (C.S.T.), Motion carried.
Motion by Bolger, seconded by Conway, to authorize Royal Bernier
to secure necessary maps from Stanton a Rockwell for use in connection
with the zoning hearing. Motion carried.
Motion by Smith, seconded by Pitzen, to adjourn. Motion carried.
