MAY 1, 1967
The City Council met in regular semi-monthly meeting with
Mayor Doherty presiding. Aldermen present: Etten, Hromec, Huck, Jackson,
Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Wegener. Absent: Bolger.
Motion by Huck, seconded by Jackson, to approve the minutes of
annual meeting and special meeting held April 24th. Motion carried.
Motion by Smith, seconded by Hromec, to approve the treasurer's
report as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Rogers, to approve the clerk's
report as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Etten, seconded by Wegener, to pay the following bills
as approved by the finance committee: Motion carried.

Motion by Jackson, seconded by Huck, to approve the request of the
McHenry Babe Ruth League to sponsor a Tag Day in McHenry June 3, Z967.
Motion carried.
Motion by Smith, seconded by Etten, to approve supplement to contract
with Commonwealth Edison Company providing for installation of street lights
at the corner of Lillian Street;and Crystal Lake Road, and at Lillian Street
and Crestwood Drive. Motion carried.
Motion by Wegener, seconded by Huck, to approve supplement to contract
'—' with Commonwealth Edison Company providing for installation of street lights
in the recently annexed Lakeland Park andLakeland Shores area. Motion carried.
Motion by Smith, seconded by Rogers, to approve salary of Cyril Bolster
at $285.00 per month, to be effective May Z, 1967. Motion carried.
Motion by Jackson, seconded by Pitzen, to enter into Inspection and
Service Agreement with The Harco Corporation pertaining Elevated Water Storage
Tank, agreement to be effective P,'a: ; ,", 19,'; subject to approval by the City
Attorney as to form. Motion carried.
Motion by Huck, seconded by Smith, to adjourn. Motion:carried.
