SEPTEMBER 18, 1967
The City Council met in regular semi.-monthly meeting
with Mayor Doherty presiding. Aldermen present: Bolger, Hromec,
Huck, Jackson, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Wegener. Absent: Etten.
Motion by Huck, seconded by Pitzen, to approve the minutes
of regular meeting held September 5th as read.
Voting "Aye": Bolger, Hromec, Huck, Jackson, Pitzen,
Rogers, Smith, Wegener.
Voting "Naye": None.
Absent: Etten.
Motion carried.
Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Rogers, to instruct Baxter and
Woodman, Civil and Sanitary Engineers, to proceed with supplement to
1966 report on Sanitary Sewer System and Sewage Treatment Facilities.
Voting "Aye": Bolger, Hromec, Huck, Jackson, Pitzen,
Rogers, Smith, Wegener.
Voting "Naye": None.
Absent: Etten.
Motion carried.
Motion by Smith, seconded by Pitzen, to approve application
to transfer Class "C" Alcoholic Beverage License from Millstream Drugs,
Inc. to Osco Drug, Inc.
Voting : Bolger, Hromec, Huck, Jackson, Pitzen,
Rogers, Smith, Wegener.
Voting "Naye`.': None.
Absent: Etten.
Motion carried.
Motion by Huck, seconded by Jackson,to authorize payment
of 1968 Dodge truck upon delivery and acceptance.
Voting "Aye": Bolger, Hromec, Huck, Jackson, Pitzen,
Rogers, Smith, Wegener.
Voting "Naye": None.
Absent: Etten.
Motion carried.
Motion by Rogers, seconded by Hromec, to grant permit to
the McHenry Lions Club to conduct Candy Day in McHenry October 6-7, 1967.
Voting "Aye": Bolger, Hromec, Huck, Jackson, Pitzen,
Rogers, Smith, Wegener.
Voting "Naye": None.

Motion carried.
Motion by Jackson, seconded by Bolger, to purchase 15
parking meters from Rockwell Mfg. Co. at a cost of $57.50. per meter.

Rogers, Smith, Wegener.
Voting "Naye": None.

Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Smith, to paint and make
necessary repairs to 500,000gaZZon water storage tank, subject to
approval by Baxter and Woodman, Engineers, but not to enter into proposed
10 year maintenance agreement.
