DECEMBER 19, 1967
The City Council met in regular semi-monthly meeting
with Mayor Doherty presiding. Aldermen present: Bolger, Etten,
Hromec, Jackson, Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Wegener. Absent: Huck.
Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Bolger, to approve minutes
of regular meeting held December 4th.
Voting "Aye": Bolger, Etten, Hromec, Jackson,
Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Wegener.
Voting "Nay": None. Absent: Huck.
Motion carried.
Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Hromec, to pay the following
Bond and Interest due January 1, 1968:
National Blvd. Bank of Chicago $21,003. 00 (PA747) Ck. #271)
American Nat 'Z. Bank and Trust
Company of Chicago $15,432.50 (PA11891) Ck. #272)
Voting "Aye": Bolger, Etten, Hromec, Jackson,
Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Wegener.
Voting "Nay": None.
Absent: Huck.
Motion carried.
Motion by Bolger, seconded by Jackson, to pay Ladd Construction
Company $4,000.00 as the city 's portion for improvements to park propetty,'
payment to be made when agreement is signed. (See March 4, 1968 Minutes)
Voting "Aye": Bolger, Etten, Hromec, Jackson,
Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Wegener.

Motion carried.
Motion by Etten, seconded by Bolger, to issue Christmas Gift
check in the amount of $10.00 to each regular employee of the city. (Ck. #5220
Voting "Aye": Bolger, Etten, Hromec, Jackson, thru #5243)
Pitzen, Rogers, Smith, Wegener.
Voting "Nay": None.
Absent: Huck.
Motion carried.
Motion by Smith, seconded by Pitzen, to pay Aldridge Electric
Company $10,465.33 on traffic signal light contract as per engineer's (Ck. #274)
approval, and $730.99 to W. A. Rakow and Associates for engineering ..Ck. #273)
service pertaining same contract.

Voting "Nay": None.

Motion carried.
Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Smith, to adjourn.
