JANUARY 4, 1960
The City Council met in regular semi-monthly meeting with Mayor Freund
presiding. Aldermen present: Bolger, Brown, Conway, Holly, Pitzen and
Thennes. Absent: None.
Motion by Bolger, seconded by Brown, to approve the minutes of regular
meeting on December 21, 1959. Motion carried.
Motion by Pitzen, seconded by Conway, to approve the treasurer's report
i.-' as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Bolger, seconded by Brown, to transfer the sum of $6,604.19
from the general fund to the Bond and Interest Fund. Motion carried.
Motion by Thennes, seconded by Holly, to approve the collector's
report as read. Motion carried.
Motion by Bolger, seconded by Conway, to approve the clerk's report as
read. Motion carried.
Motion by Brown, seconded by Bolger, to pay the following bills as
approved by the finance committee:

Motion by Thennes, seconded by Holly, to instruct Bollman and Main to
prepare election ordinance covering waterworks improvement project. Motion
carried.
Motion by Bolger, seconded by Brown, to enter into lease with Martin
Cooney pertaining recreational area (Lots 27, 28 and 29 in Hanleyts
Second AcIditirr..} and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign lease as
prepared and presented to the council by the City Attorney. Motion
carried.
Motion by Brown, seconded by Holly, to adjourn. Motion carried.
