At roll call the following aldermen were present: Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Absent: None. Motion by Rogers, seconded by Datz, to approve the minutes of the regular meeting --August 5, 1974, and the special meeting -- August 14, 1974, as read. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Howard, seconded by Pepping, to pass the Annual Tax Levy Ordinance for the current fiscal year in the amount of Two hundred Seventy-six Thousand Five Hundred Dollar1z($276,500.00). Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Mot�'on carried. Motion by Rogers, seconded by Howard, to pass Resolution favoring City participation in the proposed construction of a new bridge crossing Fox River at Pearl Street. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": "CO Absent: None. Motion carried. - Motion by Rogers, seconded by Bolger, to pay Real Estate #G7038 Tax on lot in Lakeland Park purchased from William A. and Theresa E. Tedor, amount of tax being $55.96. Motion by Hromec, seconded by Rogers, to pass Resolution conveying of a temporary easement to the State of Illinois to allow drainage work concerning an unnamed tributory of the Fox River in the City of McHenry. Mayor Stanek appointed the following named Aldermen to comprise a Police Committee: Pepping, Chairman; Datz; Bolger. Motion by Wegener, seconded by Harker, to purchase the following equipment for Marked Patrol Cars, as recommended by the Purchasing Committee: T. Motorola 2 way Radio, 4 channel $1,345.00 A. Roof Bar with revolving lights, etc. 533.39 fi. Prisoner Cage 170.00 The above equipment is for the replacement of squad #429 Buick Station Wagon. The squad car has no bar lights, siren, outside speaker, etc.. Delivery dates on Radio is 90-120 days Delivery dates on Roof Bar 60-90 days Delivery date on prisoner cage 60 days. ********** B. Motion by Howard, seconded by Pepping, to enter into agreement with the Prudential Insurance Company, Charles Thompson agent, to provide insurance coverage for City Employees, as outlined by the Finance Committee. Motion by Bolger, seconded by Harker, to pass An Ordinance authori:z%ng and directing the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into an agreement, on behalf of the City, with Lakeland Park Water Company, to purchase assets of said company as outlined. Upon roll call, the following vote was recorded: Bolger --aye; Datz--aye; Harker --aye; Howard --nay; Hromec--nay; Pepping --aye; Rogers-maye; Wegener --aye. Ther-e being 6 "Aye" votes and 2 "Nay" votes, the Mayor declared the motion carried. Motion by Rogers, seconded by Bolger, to repeal ordinance empowering the Police Commission to act as a Grievance Board, the Labor Relations Committee to be designated to include all City Employees in deliberations.
