At roll call, the following aldermen were present: Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Absent: None. Motion by Harker, seconded by Bolger, to approve the minutes of the Regular February 19th and the Special February 26th meetings, as read. Voting "Aye" Voting "Nay" Absent: None. Motion carried. Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. None. Motion by Pepping, seconded by Harker, to go on record in opposition to RTA (Regional Transportation Authority) as presently proposed. Upon roll call, the following vote was recorded: Bolger -NAY; Datz-AYE; Harker -AYE; Howard -Pass;. Hromec-NAY; Pepping -AYE; Rogers -NAY; Wegener -AYE. Mayor Stanek voted "AYE" on the motion. Totals: AYES--5 NAYS--3 PASS--1 The Mayor declared the motion carried. Motion by Wegener, seconded by Harker, to pass resolution requesting that vehicle owners voluntarily purchase gasoline on even and odd days of each month during the energy crisis, the last digit on state license (even and odd numbers) to be used in matching. Motion by Datz, seconded by Wegener, to approve the Treasurer's Report for the month of February, as read. Motion by Harker, seconded by Pepping, to pass Ordinance empowering the Board of Police Commissioners to act as a grievance board with respect to grievances of those persons who are otherwise subject to the jurisdiction of the Board of Police Commissioners of the City of McHenry. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Rogers, seconded by Wegener, to pass Ordinance repealing ordinance which prohibited reduction of Traffic Tickets written by the City of McHenry Police Department on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor. Voting "Aye": Bolger, Datz, Harker, Howard, Hromec, Pepping, Rogers, Wegener. Voting "Nay": None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Mayor Stanek appointed Aldermen Pepping (chairman), Wegener, and Hromec as an advisory Labor Relations Committee for City employees except the Police Department.
